Maintenance:

We suggest regular dust cleaning of the shutters with a dusting wand or vacuum with brush attachment and when required, wipe down with a damp cloth. Do not use chemical based cleaning products to clean the shutters.

Operation of Shutters:

  • Blades are simply operated by the vertical Tilt Rod or by tilting the blades themselves.
  • If the blade tension becomes loose or tight, using a Phillips head screwdriver, adjust the tensioning screws located on the side of the shutter to the desired tension.
  • Your timber shutter is a natural product and over time will age from the effects of the sun. There may also be some slight colour fainting as the timber ages and matures.
